Please note, Hurricane Ike forever changed the footprint of Bolivar Peninsula, therefore some homes listed as beachfront may have a lot and/or street in front of it. This is the result of the uncertainty following the storm where some property owners elected to participate in the government buy out of lots that fell in what later would be considered within the vegetation line established by the State of Texas and subsequently included as part of the public beach. Not all property owners participated. Those homes where the property in front of it are part of the buyout are considered beachfront even though to the east or west of it there may be a home closer to the beach.

The Ocean views where fantastic and the location was central to all of the Bolivar amenities.

Absolutely perfect stay! From the time we checked in to the time we checked out it was great! The AC kept us cool & comfortable even with all the in & out. We would love to stay here again next year.

Location is wonderful. House needs upgrades. Beds are hard so if you like that you’re in good shape. The front door needs work, it’s falling. Chain needs to be replaced on porch swing, gate needs work that goes from the porch to the lift. Main burner on stove doesn’t work. No electrical outlets down stairs so bring an extension cord if you need to charge anything. A/c works great, plenty of room and clean. All in all, we would stay here again but hoping they fix the issues.
