Da Haa

I had a wonderful time staying in Da Haa. It is a beautiful house and I loved all the little touches around the house. I could have talked with my hosts all day and I learned so much about life in the Shetland Islands. They couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely with everything one needs and more. Everything was clean and it was great to be able to use the fully equipped kitchen. I could have sat all day by the window admiring the view, yet the hikes around the area are just breathtaking! I would highly recommend this lovely place and are already dreaming about coming back.:)

Everything was suitable for our overnight stay. We were able to cook our evening meal and have an early night after a day of tough walking on the beautiful coastline. Perfect for our needs.

Nothing

It is a fantastic location if you like it remote. As a photographer it meant that there was so many interesting places to visit nearby if you have a car. Jill and Robert made me feel very welcome and we had a great talk over a relaxed continental type breakfast.

We arrived late, due to a failed engine on plane, so did not have time to explore. But the place is a work in progress and should not be on sale. The owners have ideas - so it should improve.
