Everything! Every little detail that would ensure a smooth self-catering trip was thought of by the hosts with the suite well equiped with towels, toilertries as well as herbs, oils and other bits and bobs for cooking. The kitchen had a cooker, fridge, coffee machine and microwave. The rooms were large, cosy and comfortable with modern facilities throughout. It was nice to stay somewhere that has the room to hold dog beds for each of our two dogs without them being a tripping hazard. The super king bed was extremely comfortable and we both got a great night's sleep every night we stayed. The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful and it was nice to stay somewhere truly dog friendly and not just dog tolerant.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Amazing location, friendly hosts, very comfortable and clean. Treats and welcome pack were great and homemade bread was delicious. Gardens and surrounding facilities are fantastic. Quirky apartment layout, but doesn’t detract from a wonderful experience.

Una fiaba

We had an amazing stay at the MacFarlane Suite. Check-in instructions were clear, the apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished, and it was fully equipped with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the lovely scents from Highland Soap Company, the delicious welcome gift, and the stunning property and garden. However, our absolute highlight was Missy the cat. She's such a sweetheart and we loved petting her. It was very hard to leave her on our last day. We enjoyed every second of our stay and would highly recommend staying here.

Nothing, everything was perfect.
