Simplystay St Martins

Clean, nicely furnished to a high standard, lovely bed

The room was clean and comfortable. It had all the listed facilities. It wasn't very big but it was fine for 1 night. My friend had a suite downstairs - that was much more spacious.

Some of the decor was a bit scruffy. The WiFi didn't work.

Central to everything

Nobody to speak with on site. No Internet available.

The apartment was spacious and clean. A bit shabby around the edges but in a good location.

None of the bulbs worked in any of the lamps. The front door did not lock and we were on the ground floor. Around midnight when we were sleeping a drunk homeless person walked into the hallway and started banging on our door looking for bed for the night. It was scary and upsetting. We called the emergency number but the person at the other end did nothing to help us. He kept saying someone was coming but they never did. You certainly get what you pay for. It was very cheap as were just passing through However I don’t think properties like this should be advertised on Booking.com
