Great location on the waterside. Services all OK, room was fairly basic for the price. Staff were helpful but there were queues and reception to check in and out.
View of car park outside. Only choice of black tea and instant coffee in room.

How friendly the staff were and how clean the hotel and how amazing the room were
The first room, fell asleep with the air con on and woke up absolutely divvoring so put the heating on then woke up sweaty and gross.

The location is wonderful, very near to all amenities in the city centre.
I would have preferred a room with a refrigerator.

Breakfast and location were great. Parking easy.
Bathroom had bad smell and shower leaked. Refunded first night.

Excellent location & there’s a multi storey car park 3mins walk away .
Can’t think of anything

Excellent location. Restaurant menu looked great but we didn’t get the opportunity to eat there. Staff were friendly.
The lighting in the room was poor. There was no main light in the room but there were half a dozen lamps. Unfortunately, half of those didn’t work.
The hairdryer was faulty.

Housekeeping staff exceptionally helpful. Thanks to the efforts of the housekeeper we got the twin room we had requested. Staff in breakfast room very pleasant and welcoming
We felt reception staff were unwelcoming and indifferent. I had a fall in the shower and they couldn't have cared less. The front doors are very difficult to open with cases and no one wanted to help

Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good. Accommodation good overlooking the waterfront.F

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, good quality clean rooms and great location.
I booked 3 TWIN rooms and got 3 DOUBLE rooms which was a bit awkward for my male friends who had to share a bed. I clearly missed the bit in the cooking process that specified that twin beds were 'subject to availability'. Perhaps this should be highlighted better as I would have booked elsewhere if I'd realised.

Ideal central location with good views. Generous room with everything I needed.
Not a double, but two single beds pushed together. Adjoining room which I quickly had to lock.

Beautiful location, friendly staff, we were able to check in over an hour early.
The walls must have been very thin as we could hear everything the man in the next room was saying very clearly. We could hear his alarm going off at 4.30am amd he snoozes it a few times too. We did mention it to a member of staff on reception but it wasn't like the man on the room next to us was being particularly loud.

Excellent choice at breakfast and comfortable bed. Staff very helpful.
Very limited parking and if you did find a space it was £10 per night - more expensive than the public car parks.

Lovely hotel & room in great location, great breakfast too.

the location is great however when its rains the river floods and then you carn't go anywhere as the brayford gets closed due to the amount of water coming near the hotel. staff were very pleasent.
the room i stayed in was very shabby and dated. it had a stained carpet and what looked like coffee or tea stains on the wall. also got told to turn our music of as it was to loud on new years eve, could only hear it if you put your ear to the door.the bed was big which was good but it was very firm which wasn't for me.

Good location in the city center. Very comfortable, spacious and perfectly equipped room. Comfortable bed. Large and great bathroom. Rich and good breakfast. Very nice staff in the dining room. Overall I was surprised by the quality of the accommodation.
In the next room, a couple had been having loud sex for hours. It's not the hotel's fault. Besides, I'm a wishful person and I don't travel without earplugs.

It was in a good location

The room was comfortable
The shower sprayed all over the bathroom, the booking.com system was awful - when searching, a £145 room was allegedly available but then when I tried to book, each time this option disappeared. It verges on dishonest advertising. For an average hotel with average breakfast and car parking £206 was at least 30-40% more than I would expect to pay anywhere other than London.

location is great, room was very good but a little on cold side and the heater was not easiest to get working. Breakfast was fine and filling.
A lady on the front desk was quite rude with her, when we wanted to book an evening meal at the hotel, she said you can as there is no space. eventually the catering manager managed to get up booked in and when we arrived we were the only guests in the whole restaurant. The waiter said it had been like that all night. Considering the size of the restaurant I cant imagine it gewtting full as even at breakfast there was still no waiting for a seat. Also she said our room was not ready when we were only approx 15 minutes early yet our friends arrived earlier than us by some time and still managed to get straight in their room.

The hotel has had a major refurb since we last stayed and they have done an excellent. The bar area is so much better being much lighter and bigger than before.
Nothing really.

Location. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Checking out.
Constant upgrade emails only to be told they are computer generated, room was cold even with the heater on. The very thin walls had a 'honeymoon couple' next door, say no more. Definitely not as good as a Premier Inn.

The location was really good but, a little confusing having to drive down a pedestrianised area to gain access to the hotel and parking. However, once in there it was good for parking. There are two disabled parking bays at the front of the hotel and I believe further disabled bays at the rear. Thankfully we managed to get a front disabled bay. The hotel was easy enough to navigate but, we were in an accessible room and a standard king next to it on the ground floor. There was a "mini gym" that I was unaware of until I got there. If I had known I would have prepared for that and taken advantage of it. It was mainly cardio machines in there but, there was a small multi gym too. It did say on the door "maximum 4 people at any time" but, the time we were there I didn't see anyone accessing it. The pricing at the bar for food and drink was expensive and after paying £130 per room per night (without breakfast) it did seem a bit steep. The bed was advertised as a "king-size" for both the accessible and the standard room but, in usual hotel fashion this was simply 2 single beds attached to each other. To be fair that wasn't an issue because I'm used to that in Hotels. The bed was comfortable but, the pillows weren't very "supportive". The accessible room wasn't really designed for wheelchair transferring to the bed because there was a chair positioned at the side and the other sides gap wasn't big enough. Not an issue for us because my partner used crutches in the room and an electric scooter outside which we left in the car. The wet room was okay but, had a little "step" into the bathroom. Presumably for water blocking purposes but, not really wheelchair friendly if needing to use the wheelchair in the bathroom. Overall it was a pleasent night and it was what it was. Nothing fantastic but, comfortable none the less.
The prices at the bar for food and drink. I am not talking about alcoholic drinks because you expect those to be more in a hotel but, soft drinks and regular food was really expensive. It was about £10 for basically a fish finger sandwich and £20 for fish and chips.

The breakfast was great, good quality and good selection.
Tea and coffee in the room was replenished daily along with the emptying of bins.
Staff were very good, efficient and friendly
Could be a little noisy outside at night if window was open, window closed did quieten the noise.

The location right on Brayford Wharf which was convenient for the evening events we'd booked.. Our twin room which was actually two double beds and had a view of the wharf and very spacious for a standard room.
The lift was only partially working so didn't go all the way to the 4th floor. Couldn't open the window and the air con didn't appear to work so it was a bit hot at night.
