Our host thought of everything! We could walk to restaurant. Breakfast on sunny patio. Short drive to Presque Isle State Park.

We had a wonderful stay at Marlene’s cottage. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach and a perfect base for exploring Presque Isle. We greatly enjoyed the hiking, birding, and wildlife viewing there. The cottage was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed. Marlene was a friendly, responsive, and accommodating host who made us feel very welcome. For a casual dinner, we highly recommend Wooden Ladle Ramen & Rice Bowl. Both the Tonkotsu and Chicken Wonton ramen were outstanding. We highly recommend Marlene’s cottage to anyone visiting the area.

Marlene was a great host and very communicative. She was accommodating with our early arrival and attentive when we had a small thermostat hiccup. Everything was very clean and had pretty much all we needed for a weekend stay. It was very close to the beaches and had easy parking. Overall was a great stay.
