Gorgeous decor, comfy bed, lovely staff. Loved the rooftop bar too.
Location was a bit run down and desolate

The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Gloucester without having to drive. It is only a short walk from the Q-Park carpark next door. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped. There was a good selection of hot and cold food for breakfast. All of the staff we spoke to were attentive and helpful. It was a nice touch to give us 2 free drinks vouchers to celebrate my birthday.
The only thing missing from the room was any drawer space other than at the top of the wardrobe. We were a bit confused about all the pull cords in the room and how low the sink was, until reception pointed out I had booked an accessible room (my bad!!). The cooked breakfast took ages to arrive on our second morning.

Modern and clean in good condition
Windows opened only a crack with very heavy curtains so almost impossible to get fresh air into the room which was exceedingly stuffy. We should be designing these spaces so that aircon is not needed when fresh air is available. No eco thinking in the design. This was disapointing.
