THE HOTEL GARAKU Kyoto Shijo雅楽京都四条

Très belle et grande chambre. Personnel très serviable et aimable.

Location was good, close enough to everything

A little too noisy in the mornings due to traffic

Wunderschönes Hotel und super nettes Personal

For a family of 4 it was great to have 2 bedrooms and the lounge area. It provided just enough space for busy times getting ready to leave for the day or evening. The coffee machine was wonderful, so nice to pop downstairs for a morning coffee and the washer-dryer was great to have available at a small charge. Yuki at reception was delightful. She could not have been more helpful with advice, directions and recommendations. It is a lovely, clean, comfortable and modern hotel with all the amenities. There was a good range of nice restaurants very close by, which was a bonus and only a 5min walk to the train station.

At a real stretch, the only thing I could say is that I could not see out the windows. I don't think the windows opened. They have the rice paper covering that looks lovely as a design feature; however I do like to look outside and see the weather in the morning.
