Our stay at Ujima Lodge was truly unforgettable — an experience we will remember for a very, very long time. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome and cared for. Everything at the lodge has been designed and arranged with so much love, attention to detail and passion. You can immediately tell how much thought and dedication the owners put into every single aspect of the guest experience. The food was simply indescribably delicious. Every meal was a highlight and prepared with so much care. The rooms were absolutely dreamy — beautiful, comfortable and so thoughtfully arranged. The service was outstanding throughout our entire stay. Nothing was ever too much, and every little detail was taken care of. The owners are an absolutely wonderful team. You can feel how much they genuinely care about their guests. They have clearly planned everything down to the smallest detail and, at the same time, they are incredibly attentive to individual wishes and needs. Their goal is clearly to make every guest’s stay as special and unforgettable as possible — and they truly succeed. The tours and game drives that were organized for us were absolutely first class. We saw so many incredible animals and had experiences that we will treasure forever. For our children, it was especially magical. They absolutely loved every moment of it and were fascinated by all the amazing wildlife we were able to see. Ujima Lodge is so much more than just a place to stay — it is an experience in itself. We honestly did not want to leave. We could have stayed much longer because everything was simply perfect. We can wholeheartedly and warmly recommend Ujima Lodge to everyone. If you are looking for a special, personal and unforgettable safari experience, this is absolutely the place to go. Wow. It has taken me a little while to write this review as it is hard to put into words what we experienced staying at Ujima Lodge. We were there for our honeymoon and it was the most beautiful, adventurous and magical experience we have ever had. We were worried Ujima was too Good to be true when booking but from the moment we were collected at the airport we knew we were with the best of the best, we saw giraffes and buffalo just on the way to the lodge and on arrival were greeted with the loveliest group of smiling faces showing us into the paradise that was our home for a few days. We had amazing safari drives out and met the loveliest people. The room was absolute perfection with an outdoor bath and shower to fully relax after the busy safari adventures. The MOST incredible food from the lovely chef Tembelani who also cooked up the most incredible vegetarian food I have ever had in my life, from the apple soup to the vegetarian brai. The lovely Bouhle with her healing hands who gave us incredible massages that we needed after the wedding and travelling. And lovely Stephen who looked after us throughout with smiles and laughter, Stephanie you have created not just a beautiful lodge but a place of dreams, I would do anything for one more day back there. I loved everything but my highlight was the cleanliness.

Absolutely everything! We travel a lot and have stayed in many beautiful places, but Ujima Lodge truly stood out as an outstanding experience. We loved the beautiful design of the lodge, which blends luxury with the surrounding nature while still feeling warm and inviting. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive and genuinely welcoming, making us feel more like guests in a beautiful private home than visitors at a lodge. The food was fantastic too- every meal was delicious, beautifully prepared and clearly made with care. The whole experience felt personal, relaxed and authentic, while still being incredibly comfortable and special. We loved that we could bespoke our excursions and safari there so we could also find the time to relax! Animals are free to roam around the lodge and this is what it made it extra special!

Honestly, nothing. We genuinely couldn’t fault anything! everything was thoughtfully done and we only wished we could have stayed longer!
