Gale River House - Boutique Hotel

We really loved our time at the Gale River House. We really loved staying at the Gale River House. It was comfortable, peaceful, and just a really nice place to come back to after a full day of exploring. We honestly wished we could have stayed a little longer.

Honestly, the only thing we didn’t like was having to leave so soon.

Beautiful location, quaint vintage feel, comfortable stay.

The in room flyer said the common room had coffee and tea but there wasn’t any there. The shower curtain made the shower feel very small.

Easy to find, very clean, modern and well-appointed. Dedicated parking right outside. Walking distance to the bar!

Just the price. Expensive for what it was but that’s most likely because we were there for the peak foliage weekend.

Had all the essentials and was perfect for a short hiking stay. Really nice aesthetic and beautiful location close to hiking trails.

The check-in experience was a bit clunky and frustrating. You use an app to check-in and verify yourself and then it's supposed to give you instructions for how to get to your room and get access. The app was malfunctioning and the page was coming up blank, so we had no way of knowing what room was ours or how to get inside. Luckily, the manager living on site noticed our car in the parking lot and came to speak to us and gave us all the details in person. If he hadn't been there we probably would have never gotten into the accommodation.
