We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this private Hanok in Seoul last week. It perfectly balances the traditional charm of a Hanok with all the modern comforts you could possibly need for a family or group trip. Location & Convenience The location is unbeatable. Being just a 1-minute walk from Anguk Station made navigating the city incredibly easy. It’s also right by Gyeongbokgung Palace, meaning we had historic sights, lovely cafes, and great restaurants right on our doorstep. Having the private yard was a beautiful bonus that gave us a peaceful space to relax. Excellent Amenities The host has thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction stove, high-quality pots, pans, plates, and utensils, which made preparing quick meals seamless. We especially appreciated the electric water kettle and the coffee maker (with pods provided!) to start our mornings. Another massive plus was the all-in-one washer/dryer, which is incredibly convenient when traveling. Cleanliness & Communication The entire property was spotless upon arrival, and the bathrooms were completely clean and well-maintained. Communication with the host was excellent throughout our entire stay—they were quick to respond, very helpful, and made the check-in and check-out process completely stress-free. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 4 beds, it provided plenty of space and privacy for our group.

The only negative aspect we encountered was that there is a designated smoking area located in a small alleyway nearby, which occasionally brought some smoke odor close to the property. Aside from that tiny detail, everything was absolutely flawless. I highly recommend this beautiful Hanok to anyone visiting Seoul and would absolutely stay here again!
