Powerscourt Arms Hotel

I have to say this is one of the easiest 10s I have ever rated. What a great place. The welcome is superb. A beautiful village too. So much attention to detail.

The bed was hard but that's a personal preference. Only two tea bags provided. No full restaurant, just tapas.

La chambre était très sympa, neuve et propre avec un grand lit confortable. Au RDC un salon avec un grand canapé Chesterfield et la possibilité de commander un drink au petit restau à côté. Très calme avec un grand parking gratuit. Enniskerry est tout proche du domaine et des jardins de Powerscourt, superbes !

This hotel is located in the cutest little village. We were warmly greeted by Holly, who was born to be in the hospitality industry. She filled us in on local attractions and we did go to Powerscourt Gardens and spent an hour or two wandering the property. She was amazing, as was all the staff. The room was really nice, very comfortable. Fantastic shower. The breakfast in the fridge was an amazing touch, as well as having fresh pastries hanging from the door in the morning. We also highly recommend the restaurant, 1896, attached to the hotel. It is a limited menu, but if you love charcuterie, definitely do it. Service was impeccable. Food was divine, nice selection of wine and we enjoyed the espresso martini, coffee & tea after dinner. You can dine outside or in. We would 100% stay again, and hope to one day.

There was not one thing we did not like . . . except perhaps staying only one night and having to leave early to get to the airport.

The staff were all exceptional and really went out of their way to be helpful. The location was right on the town square with cafes and a pub which serves dinner in the evening. The room was very comfortable. A generous breakfast was provided in the room.

We could have done with some crockery for the breakfast, and there was no food in the downstairs bar except tapas which was not available the first two nights we were there (we ate at the Enniskerry Inn). The bar was also rather chilly!
