Artist’s Home on Marienplatz | Town Hall View | 2 Bedrooms | 100 m²

Stay directly on Marienplatz in a spacious 100 m² home with two bedrooms, a generous living room, a fully equipped kitchen and one bathroom. From the living room and the second bedroom, you can look out onto the New Town Hall and see and hear the famous Glockenspiel from home.

Living & Sleeping
The main bedroom has a 180 × 200 cm bed for two guests. The second bedroom has a desk and a 120 × 195 cm sofa bed – comfortable for one and cosy for two. For groups of five, an additional guest can sleep on the sofa in the living room.

The kitchen is equipped with a stovetop, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and coffee machine. A washing machine, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are also provided.

A Personal Home

This is my private home, shaped over many years by the way I live. I am an artist, and art is naturally part of my life and of this space. My own work and pieces by other artists, vintage furniture and individual objects give the rooms their personal character.

The apartment has also been a setting for readings and performances, as well as photo and video productions and other artistic projects. All of this has left its traces and made the apartment what it is today – a personal, vibrant place in the heart of Munich.

In the Heart of Munich

Viktualienmarkt and Frauenkirche are only a few minutes away on foot. The Bavarian State Opera, the Residenz, Theatinerkirche, Odeonsplatz and Maximilianstraße are also within easy walking distance. Marienplatz U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations are practically on the doorstep, making it easy to reach the Oktoberfest at Theresienwiese as well.

Good to Know

The exceptionally central location also means that you are right in the middle of city life. Marienplatz is lively during the day and into the evening, so the sounds of the city are part of the experience. If absolute quiet is important to you, please keep this in mind when booking.

The apartment is particularly well suited to couples, families, friends and small groups looking for plenty of space and a central location while appreciating the personal character of a private home.

Parties and after-parties are not permitted. Only guests included in the booking may stay overnight.
