The Westin Nova Scotian

Location and room was immaculate.

Service at front desk was patchy- others served before me. The photos in booking.com didn’t match the room I was allocated so I asked for a room that looked the same as the picture on the website. The breakfast was ok but not what I usually expect from a Marriott hotel.

The room, the location and the staff attendance at arrival, reception and in the restaurant and bar.

The breakfast organisation is not even 3star like . Only little staff are available, not trained to work efficiently. There were 1 at the bar and 1 clearing at least 7 dirty tables waiting just in the bar area during our 20min waiting time., 30 people waiting in queue. Use trolleys and tablets. Do not walk empty-handed.... Lacking time, we chose the buffet. Some buffet shelves were completely emptied, some almost. Sarurday evening, we waited for 50 minutes for our dinner. (Lobster and clam dip and summer grain bowl) The waitress was very nice and sorry.

We had a great view from our room. The hotel was near the waterfront, restaurants and the very good Immigration Museum. We had a delicious breakfast.

The room was smaller than we'd like although well appointed.
