Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago O'Hare Rosemont

There were several things I really enjoyed about my stay. The scenery both inside and outside of the hotel was beautiful, and I appreciated having convenient on-site parking. The location was also a huge plus. Everything I wanted to do was within walking distance, so I didn't have to drive everywhere or worry about losing my good parking spot. I also loved the breakfast, and my room was very clean and comfortable. Overall, there were many positive aspects of my stay, and aside from my concerns with the pool area, I enjoyed the hotel and its location.

Hotel Pool Complaint One of the main reasons I chose to book this hotel was because of the indoor pool. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the condition of both the pool and the surrounding pool area during my stay. There were a large number of children swimming in the pool the day before. When I returned the following morning to swim, the pool water was noticeably cloudy, with visible hair floating on the surface and white bubbles/foam throughout the water. Based on its appearance, I did not feel comfortable or safe swimming in the pool. The pool area itself was also very unclean. There were wet, dirty towels left on the floor, along with smashed potato chips, cookies, and other debris. The entire area appeared as though it had not been properly cleaned or maintained from the previous day. This was especially disappointing because access to a clean and well-maintained pool was an important factor in my decision to stay at this hotel. I was unable to comfortably use an amenity that I specifically considered when making my reservation. I would appreciate management addressing these cleanliness and maintenance concerns and providing an appropriate resolution for the inconvenience.

The room was clean and the staff were all friendly. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable. 

We are a family of 3 and booked a King Suite specifically for the pullout couch. I realize that the mattresses on pullout couches aren’t known to be super comfortable, but the one in our room was terrible. The springs were visible through the fabric of the mattress and it felt like you were laying directly on the springs. There was also a sharp end of one of the coils sticking through the fabric that scratched two of us as we walked by. Our daughter ended up sleeping on the couch cushions. The other issue with the suite set up is that each room has double doors with large frosted glass panels. All of the hallway light shines directly into the sitting room with the pullout couch and there is no way to block the light. This was a huge bummer as the main reason I booked this hotel was because it appeared this setup would comfortably sleep the three of us.

Happy hour at six Freshly made omelet at breakfast

The carpet in the bedroom is old and worn with the nails sticking out of the edges. That is now a hazard and needs changing.
