Edgewater Motel

I ended up at this motel last minute after another place didn't work out. I had a lovely stay. It's a small and comfortable motel. The room had a nice kitchen set-up and a fridge. Other reviewers have complained about the traffic noise, but I did not notice that. There is a nice garden and sitting area on the bluff. I did take the stairs down to the beach. They are steep and a little rickety, but you have to take it slowly and carefully (I managed fine and actually found the beach itself a little more treacherous). Campbell River is up the road with a nice array of restaurants, cafes, and shops (I highly recommend the Museum at Campbell River - one of the coolest museums I've ever been to!).

Location is stunning. Plan to enjoy the beautiful view and beach access. Staff is very friendly and it has everything a traveller needs

What a lovely spot near the water managed by a pleasant host. She gave good recommendations for dinner too. I didn’t cook but the facilities looked fine and would certainly cut costs for those who did I

Nothing really, weather was great too

The location was fine, and the bed was good.

The shower needed a bit of repair.
