Family run bed and breakfast. The location was about 18 mins from downtown Halifax. We loved the quite and it really was not difficult to get into town. The room was delightful - just like being on a ship. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of tea and coffee supplies with a few little sweets thrown in there. Due to covid breakfast is served in your room or on your balcony. Good choice and the food was great Lovely owners.

Everything was great.

Breakfast was great, everything I needed! The room had everything I needed, also, and Elaine catered to my coffee needs perfectly. They are the nicest, most accommodating people: fun and funny, too. I've never stayed at a B&B before, and for someone traveling alone, it was perfect. It was like having a friend in a new country. Stan even loaned me a heavy jacket for my harbor duck-boat tour one day. And the setting is beautiful. I sat out on my deck and in front of me was just-ocean.

This has nothing to do with the accommodation, but I will mention it so travelers know: restaurants around Halifax are definitely a mixed bag. I will suggest that you ask Stan and Elaine for the local fish place (I promised the restaurant to not mention the name, as they can't handle an enormous amount of diners) and, if you don't go to the fish place, go to Tim Horton's!! Yes, it is fast food, but it is actually quality, delicious fast food.
