I was very pleased with the Hotel

The hotel is gorgeous. Room was perfect and bed was comfy. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful since this was our first time going to NOLA. Mike gave us all the places to go for breakfast, lunch, dinner, sites that are a must and safety tips. NOLA and Hotel Monteleone exceeded our expectations and we'll be back.

Ate dinner in the restaurant. Shopped. Location was perfect! Valet parking was great. All the Valet staff were so nice and helpful..

Excellent location for getting around. Housekeeping did a great job, the room was always cleaned at a reasonable time.

Desk staff can be rude and abrupt and give inaccurate information. For example our room was not ready at 4 pm when we arrived. We were told the housekeeping supervisor had to inspect it. We were told by the desk person the supervisor could not be contacted and she had no control, and did we want to store our bags until the room was ready. She asked for my credit card to charge the room before we were given the key to the room. She ignored us when we asked to speak with a manager. We saw another staff person in the lobby who did get a manager. What the manager did for our inconvenience and dealing with his rude desk clerk was to give us a free drink at the bar that had to be used that night! There is no way one can get a drink at the carousel bar it is always packed. We tried for the five nights we were at the hotel and could not get a seat. The lobby is noisy and always packed. When we checked out the night desk clerk refused to give me the invoice because we had booked through booking.com. I called the Hotel when I got home and the billing person told me that was incorrect and emailed me the invoice. Given the price of the room and that this is suppose to be a four star hotel we could have had a better experience at a different hotel.
