Bed was very comfortable. Staff was super friendly.
My room was on 1st floor right next to Gough St and was rather noisy.

This was a very historic hotel and we were pleased to find out it was the oldest continuously operating hotel in SF, going back to 1902. The staff were super friendly and the room was terrific (Suite). The price was great for the location.
We didn't have any problems. The breakfast was fine and the eating room was very nice. The room was air conditioned which was appreciated on an unseasonably hot weekend (over 85 in the city)

Reception was efficient and lovely. Room was pretty and comfortable. Loved the atmosphere. Good coffee. Extra blanket was a plus. Liked the bar.
One bartender was a bit pushy and I think she overcharged us. The bar food and breakfast weren't that good. Other than that totally enjoyed our stay.

The hotel itself is very cool and interesting. Everything is pretty well preserved or at least similar to what it would have looked like back in the day. It's got a cool vibe to it and the rooms and very interesting.
The issues was the cleanliness and state of the rooms. There was peeling wallpaper, my toilet was detached from the floor and rocking, there were ants in the room, the faucet in the shower was totally broken and I had to use a pen to turn it. I ended up leaving a day earlier because of the ants roaming around.
