Club Donatello

Over the past sixty years, my wife and I have stayed in many S.F. hotels. Our stay at Donatello was outstanding. The location was perfect, our room was very nice and clean, the hotel staff was great. We appreciate the very nice shower. We will certainly return.

The climate control system in the room needs to be upgraded.

It was centrally located, exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and gave awesome service and attention to detail. The only place I will stay going forward in San Francisco.

Nothing

Love this location, amenities, rooms (and amenities)and staff.

The parking fee and TAXES on this are RIDICULOUS. And an oversized vehicle fee for a standard SUV. THIS alone would keep me from coming back. The parking garage two blocks away is reasonable and we should have parked there.

Rooms good sized and clean. Comfortable bed and amenities in bathroom. Parking possible and good central location.

Only one small trash can in room (in bathroom). Very loud toilet flush that can be heard from other rooms too. Gap under door allows a lot of sound in, and windows also let in a fair amount of street sound. staff upon arrival could have done a better job - no one at valet parking station for example, and no information about the hotel provided upon check-in (e.g. hotel services and amenities, check out time, etc.). I am aware this is provided on the app, but would have been nice to have been told. Club bar staff not very interested when i visited and was on their personal phone when I tried to ask questions. on-site restaurant also poor service - only a couple of people dining at tables yet had to wait 5/10 minutes to find someone to ask to sit at bar. Bar staff also were not so attentive - sat at bar for 5 minutes with barman making drinks in front of me before leaving and not taking my order. Would have expected better service from this tier of hotel.
