One of the best locations to be close to the airport

The facility is dated, really just a motel

The pool and lenai were nice places to relax. The beach out front was nicer than expected and made for a nice recovery from jet lag.

They contacted us and offered us an upgrade including a balcony, but then upon check in they gave us a room with a pool view out of the back of our hotel, but no lenai or balcony.

Helpful staff, not a huge busy resort more relaxed and going at your own pace.

The AC worked way too good, not really a problem though

We expected a hotel not a motel. The place seems to be remodeled when only the lobby is. Rooms were old, looked that they are not taking care of and we for flea bites after sleeping there one night. They also charge parking fee if you have a car (not even a guarded one). Don’t recommend at all even if close to the airport.

Location and pretty view/setup. Facility to take a shower after check out.

Air conditioner was loud first night. Had it replaced. Not much space for placing luggage.

Very close to airport and right on the Ocean. It had a very nice pool and patio with nice loungers and fire pit tables for the evening. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms had their own AC units so temperature could be adjusted easily. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms are a little dated but the cleanliness and location more than make up for it.

No microwave in suite. Refrigerator to small, bed was uncomfortable cost was very high compared to other islands.

Don’t recall her name but lady working front desk on our evening arrival was fantastic. Suggested we get into Tante’s restaurant prior to their closing and come back later to continue checkin. Excellent staff all around and a particularly welcoming hotel.

Room was clean and facilities staff were very pleasant.

Shuttle only runs until 9 PM and several flights arrive after this time. Taxi inexpensive, but for room price, run your shuttle until midnight!

The view isn’t bad. It’s close to Whole Foods.

We arrived exhausted around 3PM with a crying baby and waited a long while for the lady at the front desk to finish her phone call. Finally a man helped us check in, only to tell us our room wouldn’t be ready for another hour. I had requested an early check in a month beforehand and received a reply from Gary Sutton, the office manager, indicating they’d do their best to accommodate if possible. Lolani at the front desk said the policy is clearly 4PM unless there is a place available, and “everybody has a crying baby.” Taken aback at the comment I said, “ok, no problem, we will hang out in the lobby while we wait.” Magically something became available to get us out of the lobby. That something was basically a below-ground-level room with no view, which we had to trek ages down urine-smelling carpet to get to (no offer of help with bags or car seat from the front desk staff). When we finally got to the room, it smelled as if someone had unloaded an entire can of Axe body spray inside. Coughing, I opened both windows to air it out. The smell seems to be soaked into the linens too, as it just won’t dissipate. When Lolani (the man from the front desk) texted to ask how the room was, I said “to tell you the truth it wasn’t what I was hoping for.” He replied “you’re welcome. Have a great day on Maui.” I am going to assume he didn’t read my reply, rather than that he was intentionally being dismissive. We didn’t receive our water bottles for the $20 amenity fee, and were told that a baby pack and play would be $20 more. For $400 per night (fees add up quick!), I expected MUCH better. We would never ever recommend this place. The rooms are nothing like what’s pictured online, and online it doesn’t mention that there’s a separate side building (not poolside or water side) where our room was. Completing the check in experience, after hearing our flight left at 11:30AM, Lolani did offer us a late check out at 12PM…. Thanks?
