Cathedral Hill Hotel

The gentleman working the front desk was friendly and clear about the rules. I arrived about 6 PM and was lucky that there was plenty of parking spots available. Parking is located on the ground level, under the hotel.I was able to walk to a concert at The Masonic from here. While rather spartan and showing some wear, my room was as expected. My bed was comfortable and the water pressure was fantastically strong! It was a pleasant stay and I'll stay here again.

There are a lot of street people in the area. I knew this about the area and have never had an issue with a single person over perhaps a half a dozen stays. The parking garage smelled of urine and on Saturday morning, a loud pressure washer was being used to clean it up. While one side of my king mattress was comfortable, the side away from the wall was showing some serious wear. Overall, the room shows a lot of wear but I was expecting that for the price I paid.

I love that there is hotel parking available! theres a store across the street a pizzeria / taqueria and a park.

Went to SF for outside lands 2026, this place was close to the festival which was nice and there were a lot of food options within walking distance. It was what we needed but was gross.

It was gross. The sheets were stained and there were either dead bugs or dirt in the sheets. Not enough towels and not great towels. The tv didn't work one of the nights we stayed. Other guests were very loud.
