it was a late evening in Charlott my wife and i didn't know you cant buy alcohol at a store but the Hotel had a bar so we could have a drink on our anniversary
honestly the showers could really use a handheld shower head.. i would actually expect it at a hotel such as this

The staff members were helpful and friendly. Property well cared for. Great location.
The bed. What happened to the famous Marriott bed? It was a sack of foam on a slab. Not supportive. Backaches both mornings.
Breakfast very expensive. I ordered oatmeal and received a very hearty bowl with blueberries, but the oatmeal was only lukewarm. Starbucks coffee as always tasted burned. I do not like Starbucks.
The furniture has become so minimal that it's no longer comfortable.

Good value with room deal
Marriotts systems did not recognize your Confermation number. Marriotts corporate phone system and structure sucked. Very confusing and not coordinated internally. Called to notify of late check in and had to call back twice to get it done, after M-Corp booking informed me they could not contact hotel to tell them I needed late check in.

Very convenient location.
Room and bathroom walls were dirty. The white shower curtain was also dirty with visible, physical 'things' on it. I checked in at 4 am but they insisted I still pay for the full prior day. The hotel is extremely dated to be placed in the middle of an up-and-coming city center that flaunts a certain level of wealth.
