Courtyard by Marriott Portland Hillsboro

Felt secluded and natural outdoors environment in an urban area. Close to everything. Grill Restaurant just off the lobby . Amenities. Ice location was a Journey… but it got me out to see all this Marriott Courtyard had to offer.

The Marriott early check-in fee , if not a member , was not mentioned. We showed up @ 2:45 pm . We offered to return at the appropriate check in time, but The manager smiled, understood, & waived this fee . That was great service.

Great location. Super amazing staff! The room was exactly what we wanted and asked for and beyond. Courtyard room with patio door! Clean rooms with a few minor exceptions.

The smoking area outside the door was right in front of the handicapped parking spots and one lady was stinking up the area. I had to walk through her smelly cig smoke to unload my vehicle and to take our service dogs out. Not ok. Made me sick to my stomach The were dirty spots in the floor and the cloth chair. Didn’t want to sit on it. Fairly gross dirty corners in the bathroom and room. The connecting door to another room was not closed completely but I got it taken care of but only because I’m leery about that stuff.

Location.

Toilets should be higher. I’m 5’4” and could barely get up with bad knees. My husband is 6’ 4”. Advertised free breakfast but had nothing.
