La Quinta by Wyndham Stonington-Mystic Area

Clean, nice bedding, spacious rooms, MOST of the staff was absolutely lovely!

There was one front desk chick on Mon 10/12 at 9am who was straight up talking crap about the guests being messy and inconsiderate for leaving the waffle batter cups out (even though we were reusing them rather than wasting cups) and it was in front of a lot of people and everyone was disappointed — especially since every other front desk staff was soooo nice

Clean, none & helpful staff

Price! Outrageously expensive. We did book a bit last minute because a wedding scheduled for Block Island had to be revised quickly because of the impending nor'easter and we needed at least 4 rooms for our family. But $400+/night?? The hotel didn't have many guests either. And they charge for wifi unless you join Wyndham rewards. My reservation had 4 different rooms, one couple arrived a few hours before official checkin time (3 pm, when the wedding started!) and we were charged $75 early checkin fee even tho the room was ready. I've NEVER had any of those experiences at Hilton or Marriott properties.

The property was located about 5 miles outside Mystic. Easy drive everywhere we wanted to go. Room was very clean, plenty of room for two. The breakfast was just right.

The TV would not work for streaming services and no one knew how to fix. Not a huge problem but we had a lovely long day, got comfy put on a movie on Netflix and within a 1/2 hour the screen said sorry can’t connect.

Great location

No heat in our room
