Fogcatcher Inn

We really enjoyed our stay at Fogcatcher Inn! The location is fantastic — the beautiful Moonstone Beach is literally just a one-minute walk away, and the sunsets there are absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is conveniently located, with a large free parking area, which is a huge plus. We also appreciated having complimentary coffee and tea available in the lobby. We would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you want to experience an unforgettable sunset at Moonstone Beach!

The only minor downside is that grocery stores aren't easily accessible on foot, so having a car is quite helpful. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!

Room was dated. Remote to fireplace was in several pieces. Water wasn’t very hot for showers and baths. Blinds were old and broken.

Great location by the sea although a bit remote for restaurants choice to walk to . We loved the room size and the top floor view - and the whole beach vibe . Reception were lovely and very accommodating . We found the coffee shop a couple of doors down and the pop up wine and tapas convenient . Would recommend

The proximity to the beach we’ve stayed here before as you can see in this photo that we included. We had the prop open the windows with a coffee cup or a water bottle.

Let me see we had an oceanfront room but the windows were so smudgy inside and out. You couldn’t get a nice picture. The floor was all slippery. I don’t know what the heck they put on it. And some of the windows opened but as soon as you opened up, they slamed back down. Luckily there’s no kids using those windows. But the real kicker was oh well this place sucks it’s gone downhill. Let’s go look at the pool. The pool had about 2 feet of water that look like some chemical ooze green algae. Who knows how many years has been sitting there it’s almost like the vacation movie just a joke. No mention that oh by the way while you’re booking, we don’t have a pool and this is coming off a season where it was summer and I’m sure families and their kids couldn’t wait to jump in the pool. Imagine their disappointment. no free breakfast no welcome cookies just a guy that where you might go eat if you get hungry unbelievable most of the hotels up and down that strip. Offer a continental breakfast, which is very good and cookies in the lobby. This was our last choice, but it was the only thing that was available and now we know why it was available. I would not recommend anyone staying here, especially if you have a family until they get their shit together.
