DoubleTree by Hilton Olympia

The hotel was perfectly located for our stay in Olympia. The breakfast is super good. The staff is very friendly.

Just one slow elevator. Also it was nowhere mentioned that the pool is under construction. Not a big deal for us but still.

Good location near the waterfront. Upgraded to large, comfortable room after problem with original room. Good parking. Reception staff friendly and welcoming, gave good advice on local restaurants. Olympia is a great stop off near to Seattle airport.

The rooms are clean and coMfortable with nice linens and good products. Centrally located and the staff (Lynell) was super friendly and helpful.

Some of the common areas (pool, elevator) are a bit old and dated. The neighborhood is well-located, but a few of the nearby streets are a bit dicey at night.

I froze all night because the HVAC heater did not work. The outlets in the nightstand for plugs did not work. Nothing worked. I didn’t sleep, I was cold all night long. The next morning, after a bit of back-and-forth with the hotel, they worked in tandem with booking.com to see that I got a full refund, which I appreciated and expected. As long as everything functions in the hotel room, I’m sure this is a perfectly lovely place to stay. My experience unfortunately didn’t go so well, but it is unlikely to repeat, I hope not. 🥶
