All the while I thought in my reservation breakfast for 2 was included but it’s not. When I questioned the front desk it was not a pleasant encounter. The way the receptionist answered was not nice. The room we were sent had a connecting room so all the noise that the next room was making goes directly to our room. In short our stay was not peaceful. The big lamp shade next to the Sofa bed don’t have a light bulb the 3 lights to the ceiling above the sofa bed either busted or no bulbs. In short there was not enough lighting in the room.There’s 2 bathroom but only one little bar soap was provided. We checked out early and I told the front desk he can send my check out receipt to my email but he didn’t. A staff name Ivy messaged me this afternoon ,giving me instruction that all charges can be seen in their TV screen. She messaged me after 3 PM way after we left the hotel already . The check out time is 11 AM. Since I did not get the itemized charges, I asked her to send me the itemized charges to my email account . I did not get response anymore. I deserved to get a copy of what I’m being charge for my stay there . The money that I paid was total of $408 with few cents. It’s not worth for the service and comfort that we experienced from that hotel .

the bedsheets were stained and ripped. there was really bad noise coming from the AC unit and another Unit outside by balcony and was hard to sleep! also I took a video because we were itching a lot and there was some things flying around in the room. not sure if it was tiny flies or dust mites! also the shower door even when closed drips water outside and soaks the towel on the floor. It should be resealed at bottom of shower door. I made a complaint with front desk guy Divonte who said he would bring up my complaint to the manager. I also emailed Divonte at [email protected] to formalize my complaint. this was my email: Dear Divonte, As per our conversation today. Please note that we were disappointed in some things with the room #338. 1- the sheets on the bed had stains and the fitted sheet was ripped on the side. ( see pics per your request) I told the housekeeping girl when I saw her in the hallway and she changed the sheets. However, this issue did give us a bad impression. 2- there was a loud noise through the night and day which was not just the air conditioning unit. It seems to be a bigger unit for the building that is heard loudly from this room. 2- I was also very itchy from the sheets and I took a video that shows some things flying around at night. Not sure what it was but it made me itch a lot. I have scratches on my back from it. 3- the shower door even when closed drips water outside and soaks the towel on the floor. It should be resealed at bottom of shower door. The only plus was that the location was excellent and the staff was very nice and cordial. Back in March 13-16, We stayed at Grand beach Hotel Bay Harbor and we didn’t have any of these problems. We hope you can compensate us for some of the issues that made our stay a bit unpleasant. We would appreciate you speak with your manager and let us know what you can do. Your help and attention in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Convenient location to what we wanted. Right on the beach. Room was luxurious and had a great stay. Loved the amenities offered while on the beach - chairs, towels, umbrellas, drinks and food.
