Terrace Inn and 1911 Restaurant

If you like old, historic type buildings..... like we do, this place is great! It has character from the wood paneling, music playing in the lobby, floral carpeting, and leather furniture albeit worn with age.... which adds to the charm.

The only problem we had was our TV couldn't get reception....not surprising given the age of the building. Not a problem since we don't spend too much time in our room.

We really appreciate historic hotels and loved the location within the historic Bay View community. The room was also very quiet and roomy with openable windows.

We appreciated being able to open the window in our room but it really needs a screen to keep out bugs.

This Inn was an incredible surprise to us. We certainly weren't expecting the historic Inn in an historic neighborhood, with friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast cooked fresh that morning. Jill, Lynn, and Judy were delightful staff members who were well versed in the history of the Inn and the surrounding neighborhood. The Inn is very old, so if that's not your liking you should probably look elsewhere. The pictures are very accurate. Comfortable room with a nice quiche breakfast that also offered granola, juice, cereal, yogurt and other items in a warm dining hall. Our only disappointment was the restaurant was closed for the season when we visited.

Nothing.

Breakfast was pretty good. Homemade muffins and coffee cakes.

Very small rooms. No chair.
