Blue Flamingo Resort Key West

The floor of our room was very dirty. Come out of the shower, and walk around the room, feet would be black.

Super clean

Close to attractions, but far enough away for relax and rest. The resort held enough activities to help keep busy. Pools were nice and relaxing. Restaurants on property had good food and drinks.

We were on 4th floor. Elevator down had to go to another one to get up. The first night the stairs closest to our room was roped off and couldn’t use them. Hotel definitely needs some updating and maintenance. We had hot water only one night.

Property was clean

The property sits on top of the main road into Key West so you are blessed with traffic noise all day and night. We stayed in room 269 which is supposed to be a sea view, it’s something you pay extra for but when you look at the pictures, this should not be the case. The DND sign on the door was ignored and at 10am on departure morning while my wife was naked, the door was opened, thankfully we had it latched. The breakfast venue is an outdoor venue so if you enjoy eating in the humidity and sweating while you eat, it’s perfect for you.
