Havana Cabana at Key West

We loved the pool area! We also just liked the feel of the whole place. It has character!

The room was either cold or warm, never “just right”.

For being a “Cuban” hotel no Latin music was played

Location

From the moment we arrived, the staff did not make us feel welcomed. There was very little warmth or friendliness, which was disappointing because we expected a much more welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were also not what we expected. The air conditioning was extremely loud—it honestly sounded like a truck running inside the room. We specifically paid extra for an Ocean View room, but we were placed on the first floor, where instead of enjoying a relaxing ocean view, we had to deal with the constant noise from the hotel’s equipment and motors. There was also very little privacy, which made it difficult to truly relax and enjoy our stay. I paid for one of the more expensive room options because I wanted this trip to feel special, but unfortunately, I left feeling like I wasted my money. For the price we paid, I expected much better service, comfort, room quality, and overall experience. Sadly, this hotel did not meet our expectations, and I would not choose to stay here again.
