Location with access straight to beach and gulf view -

Low water pressure in shower - couch was uncomfortable

It was right on the beach! It has a mom and pop vintage feel, which we really liked, and a small kitchen. If you want fancy, there's a Hilton literally next door for twice as much! The hotel is right on the beach and great resturants nearby!

I don't mind dated.. like the bathroom tiles.. I think of them as retro...but if you're one of those picky people, i guess that would be it!

Most everything. Room was large. Bed was comfortable and resort was quiet at night.

Furniture was dated and worn. Blinds did not cover all of the windows.

Right on the beach. Large balcony with chairs and couch. Streaming TV in both living and bedrooms.

Outdated, called a resort and suite with kitchen, but no plates or any dishes or silverware/cups , no beach towels, place is wore out

The chairs around the pool are old & elderly people cannot sit on a low chair., the bed mattress was lumpy

Easy beach access with beautiful balcony, open lounging area, nice pool. Very well-kept and roomy. Helpful friendly staff.

Can’t think of a thing.

I was a little concerned after reading the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the hotel! The rooms were larger than expected. I wonder if it had been apartments in a previous life. The hotel is older (pink tiles in the bathroom) but it is a classic. Made me want to put on a polka dot bathing suit, Marilyn Monroe sunglasses, and relax like it was the beach in the 50's! Also, this hotel is RIGHT on the beach! I will definitely be staying here again.

Some updating needed

I was not aware there was a breakfast. I was informed of coffee, but didn’t have a chance to take advantage of it. Seabreeze restaurant and the intercostal were perfect for our reason for business travel - electric surfboard lessons!

The pull-out couch would auto-fold if more than one person sat with their back on the couch back at one time. The couch itself in standard use was quite nice.

The view of the gulf is everything. The room was giant and the beds were comfortable.

Everything has gone downhill in the past few years. We’ve stayed 4 times in the last 3 years. Everything just looks rundown, shabby. Our room was the same. There was a LOT of wear and tear. the couch was sinking, the tables were all scratched, paint dingy and chipping, the main tv was small and not a smart tv. They obviously did a reno a few years ago and didn’t choose durable furniture or finishes, and it shows. AND there were short hairs on the shower floor. Time for new maintenance staff and a furniture budget. The icing on the cake was that they are doing major renovations next door. We couldn’t enjoy the balcony Friday night because they were pressure washing an empty pool which made the noise unbearable. The construction lights shined right into our bedroom window all night. There are NO CURTAINS!? sigh . This was a weekend getaway for our 24th wedding anniversary. I had recent foot surgery so we were in the room the whole time, and it was very disappointing.

Location was perfect

The room was dirty and outdated the photos online were deceiving. The elevator was disturbing it had photos of children with their eyes cutout. The door had no security lock and the second lock was broken. There were crumbs on the sofa and the table was sticky. This place really needs some tlc and cleaning!

You can’t beat the location! Dated, but clean and spacious. Had everything we needed. A good value! Stayed multiple times and can’t wait to come back again!

Location is perfect. Simply nothing fancy.

Perfect location for the beach. Staff were kind. Chair rental on the beach. AC worked great. Quiet. Pool was lovely. Cleaning crew was working hard cleaning up after the hurricane.

The adults couldn’t sleep I. The bedroom because the light outside was so bright on the building at night. Needs curtains. Shower height was short and didn’t have a very pressure. Mildew on the roof corner. There was all these beautiful cabinets in the kitchenette but no silverware or plates/bowls. Dry rotted wood on the balcony (reported to staff) missing knob on closet and bathroom door had been damaged. Sheets had spots on them.

The location is great being right on the beach.

This was my 4th stay here and I use to love this place, but it seems to have really gone down hill. There was mold on the vents. The shower was so dirty like it was never cleaned. The door did not close to the bedroom so my son actually fixed it so I could close it. Also we could not adjust the air conditioner to cooler. I called maintenance and they came up and said that it can’t be changed. My son slept on the sofa bed and it was nothing but springs. I know they are not the most comfortable but the looked and felt so old. There was dust on the walls and door to the bedroom.

The view and the location

No pool towels, you have to rent the beach chairs and stuff, no BBQ area, the sofa bed was with really uncomfortable mattress, the sheets had stains on them. If the price was $100 less will be good enough.

The front desk guy was exceptional. My friend and I wanted to brighten his day and got him a candy bar wrapped into a million-dollar wrapper. We gave it to him to say "THANKS A MILLION" for taking care of us. Great stay, on the beach with restaurants everywhere. BIG pool and a relaxing lounge type breezeway room with a view of the ocean. Very nice. Will go back someday. I definitely recommend Mango's next door and Sweet Sage Cafe----both within walking distance. Surf shop across the street.

Location to the beach.

The room appeared to have not been cleaned. The tables and counters had what looked like food crumbs and other debris. The floor seemed as though it had not been mopped or swept in quite some time.

Small apartments make it more like home.

Pool is only open 9 to 9. And they lock the entire property so you have to go out and around at night to walk the beach.

So noisy. You can hear voices from outside like 5 am. If you’re planning sleep over good luck. Noise from pool also. Stuff wasn’t friendly. Check in time already late 4 pm and our room wasn’t ready. We checked in one hour late. What is not good at all. We had reservation at 6 pm and we needed change our clothes after long trip there. We were almost late for our reservation. We ask for coffee and stuff was rolling their eyes. If you like coffee in the morning you have to ask for that front desk I tell you they don’t like that. Nobody cleans your room. You have to ask for cleaning. I did ask and nobody come to clean my room. You have to clean your room by yourself. Prepare to sleep with sand. Bed is covered with send. They not cleaning rooms very well. I don’t think I will stay there again
