This lake house is a 3 level house in a great location and just a block to Dunn Beach. The main beach with the restaurant and boat rentals is just a short drive. This house is cooled by a swamp cooler that doesn't heat the upper floors. The lowest level stays cool but has a loud humming noice from the swamp cooler. The house has a strange odor. The house may not have met our expectations but we still had a great vacation.

The house itself is comfortable with all the rooms and bathrooms but what We really loved is how well stocked the house was. For someone who was looking to just get away and chill for a few days we had everything needed here for basic meals. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots pans and cutlery we needed. It’s also only about 35 mins to the entrance to Yosemite and the view of the lake from the property is gorgeous. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Nothing much really. They probably just forgot the washing detergent but other than that this was great.

The house is clean and has everything you need. It's 8 minutes drive to the lake which is very nice. Owner's instruction is very clear.

You will need to go through the community gate to get to the property. So, do not follow the GPS to the property address before getting your permit. Once we finally got to the house, the lock box won't not open with given code. We tried to call the given service number but it went to voice mail. It took us about 20 minutes of trying everything and luckily that the garage and the door to the house were not locked. We waited for another hour to get the text message/email with new code to the lock box. One of the strange thing is that the door between the garage and house can only be locked on from garage yet the garage can't be locked. So anyone can have access to the house (that's how we got in even with the correct key code). Maybe we missed something...

Clean house

30 minutes drive from Yosemite park entrance and $30 fee to enter the community.

Nice view of the neighboring lake from the main terrace, very quiet location, clean (but this is the least you can expect when you are paying 170 USD of cleaning fees per stay).

This is an airbnb location but it is specified nowhere on booking.com. It took us two hours to find the location and get in. Full address of the location is not provided by booking.com. When you ask GPS to drive you to Pine Hideaway, you end up in the middle of a forest at night with no one to help you besides the booking.com operator at the other side of the US. Once you think you are at the right address, there is no "Pine Hideaway" sign anywhere and no light at all therefore you just wonder if you are at the right place or if the right place is not the next house. Once you have been able to confirm by yourself, the last challenge is to figure out how to get the keys from the 19th-century type lock box hanging at the front door. On the instructions received by e-mail from booking.com, there are ten lines of explanations on how and where to park your car (while this is obvious) but there is not a single line on how to get the keys. Entrance to the Yosemite Park is still 40 minutes away. TV has a wide range of programs but most of them are useless. Value for money is penalized by the level of cleaning fees.
