Quiet and relaxing. Good place to chill away from city.

No BBQ grill! How we supposed to have a steak! Place is an old cabin, wiring is WAY OLD and DVD needs updating to watch a movie. No AC but there were fans. Girlfriend was not impressed with the bathroom cleanliness. Spa worked which was nice, but probably could have used a cleaning too. I am the rugged type so did not mind most of these issues as it was better than a tent, but for the price it should have a few upgrades and be cleaner with a small BBQ so cook on.

The cabin itself is very nice and I really wish we could have stayed longer. The area surrounding it is of course beautiful and very peaceful. Most comfortable and cozy besides the heater not working well.

This company, like the others, of course took advantage of the increased demand during the holidays and marked up the daily rent by at least twice of what it would normally be worth. I had tried to allow for early check-in on at least 4 occasions, all 3 of which were denied, even asking to check in literally 25 minutes before 4:00pm. The excuse in my email was that they needed to allow the staff time to clean the cabin. "Ok, that's fair" I thought. Except that wasn't the reason. We arrived around 3:20pm and there was no one inside the cabin. So I called Vacasa and they outright refused, stating it had something to do with Covid19 mandates. I had asked to explain how me checking in 20-40 minutes early had anything to do with Covid19 and I was given some scripted response. There was no reason I couldn't have enjoyed the room I dropped $500 on, for at least 30 minutes more since it caused no inconvenience to the company. Next, finding the actual key once it hit 4:00pm was another issue. The cabin itself is NOT labelled at all. However, the separate garage was labelled. The email describes the key as being in a lockbox to the left of the door. What they failed to mention was that the lockbox was to the left of the BACK DOOR, which, as the back door indicates, is behind the cabin, wrapped around in the corner of the building.

It was cozy cute old style wooden house. I felt like I was back in time like when I was a kid :) Hot tub was already warmed up for us, very quiet area, surrounded by big beautiful tree, you can get see a lot of bunnies and squirrels. All the stores are very close like a coffee shop restaurants, souvenir shops. I needed it. I had a very relaxing getaway.

Shower drain slow and water pressure was so poor, but stay was worth it.
