Hyatt House Washington DC/The Wharf

The location was perfect for what we wanted. We had everything we needed right there on Fisherman’s Wharf! 😊 The property is excellent, beds are super comfortable & the bathroom was exceptional! 🤩

Nothing to not like about the property!

Easy to get to the music venue from hotel. Lots of dining options within walking distance. Staff was polite and helpful.

Parking was expensive $60+ per day. The room at The Rose casino was nicer and half the price…parking there was free too.

Breakfast was awesome, Staff were very friendly, nice view

Location, location, location! It was directly on the wharf and so close to the attractions! Lovely view of the water as well!

THAT. BATHROOM. DOOR! That door was so janky. It was a slide-able slab (can’t even call it a barnyard door) that when you try to close and then lock the door, the door gapped open on the other side where you can see the room from the bathroom, effectively making the slab null! THEN! If you didn’t lock the slab, it would just magically slide open, exposing you to the bedroom while you’re on the loo. Not. Cool! The room was also tiiiiiiny. The tv was directly at the foot of the bed with little room to move around otherwise, thus making the bathroom door issue even more of an issue. Having stayed in other locations on the wharf that were also on the smaller side, the room was not up to snuff comparatively. It did the trick, but i doubt I’d stay here again of my own free will
