Heaven on Washington Fully Furnished Apartments

Great location to National Mall and restaurants. Clean and spacious. Comfy bed and nice sheets. Pool and jacuzzi. Friendly staff. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen, lounge, 2 bathrooms and dressing room. Perfect for 4 people. Great air conditioning too.

We love this place cause it is at the heart of the places we visited during our stay in Washington.The rooms are amazing, we had all we need in the kitchen and its a calm place. No disturbance.

Location, size of apartment, facilities, staff

Initial room we were assigned hadn’t been house cleaned. However this was quickly resolved by assigning us a different apartment.

Spacious apartment and location

The apartment's location and amenities were good, but our stay was significantly affected by a serious issue: on our second night, we found a mouse inside the living room at 3:15 am. We caught and removed it ourselves and reported it immediately through Booking's chat, requesting an immediate unit change, which was not provided. The host's staff minimized the situation from the start, questioning whether it had actually been a mouse. We authorized them to access the apartment during the day while we were out, and they reportedly conducted an inspection claiming they found no signs of rodent activity. They then told us pest control would carry out a further inspection at our check-out. They later described the case as "isolated," without further acknowledgment. There was also an attempt to reach us via WhatsApp, but our official communication throughout was through Booking, as is standard for this platform. We never received a direct response from the host regarding our request for compensation — all communication came through staff, and the matter was left unresolved on their end. A rodent in a living space is a health and safety concern, not a minor inconvenience, and the lack of direct accountability from the host, along with their repeated attempts to downplay and cast doubt on what we reported, was disappointing. We would not book with this host again.
