While trying to sleep someone turned the water on and it sounded like a jackhammer outside

The location is great ,right across the street from the beach. Within walking distance to restaurants and amusement park. The staff was very helpful and friendly! Great hotel for people watching from deck.

This is a typical OOB hotel. This hotel needs lots of updating. The mattress was very worn but comfortable. This hotel really needs some TLC The office does provide free coffee but doesn't open until 9 am. If you're staying in OOB for the beach, this is a great hotel to stay in due to its location.

First room What is not satisfactory, but the guy at the desk had no problem and gave us a better room without costing more that worked out really well.

My first room should not have been used.

Location was fantastic.

The rooms need updating. We had sheets of metal to keep stuff from going under the bed but they also made a bunch of noise when you moved on the bed. It was not a restful night. Balcony slants, it needs repairs before it falls off. The front desk guy did not read our reservation for two beds and instead put us in a single queen room and when I went back to the office said “I saw two of you and assumed you were a couple”. then was not going to move us to a room with two beds like we had reserved and paid for. That was a bit of a struggle to get a new room, a room that we reserved and paid for.

I liked how close it was to the pier

the property was very old and hadn’t been updated at all, a lot of the facilities were broken or just gross. we stayed in a pet friendly room which was nice to have as an option for our dog but we had to clean up a water spill from her bowl and was shocked at how black the towel was from wiping the floor. it was not worth the money especially since we went at the end of season. the man working was rude. zero parking for people staying their unless u best everyone else that stays there. literally 20 spots with about 100 rooms. very disappointed being that my fiancé and I stay in old orchard quite often. also the sink was leaking, and not dripping like wouldn’t stop running.
