Seehotel Bönigen

The location was amazing! Just steps from the bus stop, and literally right across the street from the lake. It's easy to get to but also extremely peaceful and serene. We were in the lake facing rooms which all had spacious balconies and the view from the balcony overlooking the lake is one of the most beautiful settings in the entire world. The staff at this hotel was also the most friendly and helpful out of any of the hotels we stayed at in Switzerland. The hotel also had a lot of nice touches which made it exceptional, for example each floor has a lounge/tea room that's stocked with a water boiler and cups/teabags/etc. They also have a great beer on tap right behind the front desk, I highly recommend it.

Brilliant location and view — hard to beat. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and while the bathrooms (especially the shower) felt a little dated, the rooms were clean and the setting more than made up for it. Would happily stay again just for that view!
