We had a wonderful stay here. The host was very welcoming and gave us plenty of great options for dinner that evening. After a busy day exploring both Launceston and Freycinet National Park, followed by the drive from Launceston to Freycinet, we simply wanted a local to point us towards a good, no-fuss dinner — and the host was more than happy to help. The studio apartment itself is lovely and ideal for a couple looking for a peaceful getaway. The real bonus was seeing the joeys and rabbits happily frolicking right in our backyard — it was the perfect unexpected touch. We only stayed for one night as this was a midway stop on our journey between Launceston and Hobart, but we would definitely recommend staying for several nights if you’re planning to explore Freycinet National Park. A lovely, peaceful place to base yourself.

Nothing. It was perfect for our 1-night stay

Compact studio with a lovely outlook. Very peaceful

Loved everything about this place - the view, the studio architecture, the layout and space, not to mention the very thoughtful breakfast supplies which was the cherry on top ! And host Emily was the cream ! You Must stay here and don’t bother looking anywhere else ! Easy decision.

Nothing ! Loved everything !

Emily communicated well & welcomed us. The property was well maintained & very clean. We woke in the night to witness the most magnificent sky scape! And then the dawn bird song was amazing. Felt so privileged to witness both of these. Breakfast provisions were appreciated & delicious.

The property was great. We liked it all. If we had to offer suggestions (not criticism): A higher bed to observe the morning animals would have been a personal plus. Also, a sky window above the bed to see that night sky would have been amazing! Totally realise that it wouldn’t suit everyone however.
