Hotel Julian

Great location - easy access to the main attractions, while lovely and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful

We were very satisfied with our stay. Hotel Julian has very good access to important Prague landmarks for on-foot exploration or using public transport. It's in a quiet area, without any significant noise even during the weekend. We were looking for a hotel with good breakfast reviews and that is what ultimately made us choose Julian. Breakfast buffet had a wide offering, sufficient variety and a large availability window. The room and bathroom were spotless. No odd smells or weird stains. It overlooked an interior street so there was minimal noise from the outside. Apart from the occasional chair moving in the room above or the sound of water moving through the pipes we didn't notice any noise. Water temperature (hot and cold) and pressure were very good. During our stay we needed to iron some clothes and while they explained they cannot provide these to the room, they set up an "ironing area" on their maintenance floor with all that was needed (board, iron, hangers). Thanks a lot to Petr, he was very helpful. We think accommodations were good value for the price and we would stay there again on a future visit.

Some strange dripping/water noises at odd hours, earplugs should cover them if you’re sensitive. Room could use a full sized mirror (they have the wall space for it too).

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Julian. From the moment we arrived, the woman at the front desk was incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful. She made sure we knew about different tours and activities around Prague and that we had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. She truly made us feel at home right away. Our room was lovely, comfortable, and wonderfully quiet. We were also so glad we chose to stay in Malá Strana rather than Old Town. It was peaceful and away from all the hustle and bustle, yet still close enough that we could easily walk across the bridge and be right in the heart of everything. Our favorite part of the stay, though, was the breakfast. It was a beautiful spread with fresh pastries and so many delicious choices. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. After more than a month of traveling through Europe, it was easily the best hotel breakfast we had anywhere. Sitting in the beautiful library in the mornings, having breakfast and sipping cappuccinos, became one of my favorite memories of our entire vacation. One morning I actually sat there with tears in my eyes because I knew, in that moment, just how special it all was. I cannot recommend Hotel Julian highly enough. It was such a wonderful part of our time in Prague, and I truly hope we are lucky enough to return someday.
