La Residenza

We have stayed in La Residenza during four separate years; it feels like home with excellent services. We normally stay in northern Italy part time and then finish in Rome, staying at La Residenza. We only wish we could find a hotel as satisfying as La Residenza is up north. They have connections with a driving service and have arranged drivers to Frascati, and made excellent suggestions--including another repeated favorite restaurant (to which we have returned this year), the Sibilla, located on a historic landmark in Tivoli. The hotel is spacious throughout, including the rooms.

What a delightful Hotel, built in the 1870’s, it is charming with modern amenities. The staff is so helpful and the restaurant was excellent. Walking easy to shops and restaurants. If in Rome again, we would stay there again.

Nothing!

The location was good but we also heard loud music from a nearby bar late into a Monday night. The staff was also very responsive to our pre-stay communications, including helping us arrange driving / transport services.

It’s not as high-end and elegant as the pictures would indicate. Also, we reserved and paid for a junior suite, but they gave us a “family room’ which they claimed was one of their junior suites even though they are listed separately on their website including different pictures for each.

nothing to be considered as a 4star hotel

hotel and room is not at all with 4star facilities, breakfast with very minimal option. anything I asked from reception had to go down myself to collect it which is very disappointed.
