Dieses komfortable antike Haus befindet sich auf mehreren Hektar Land an der National Seashore, nur 800 m vom Bound Brook Island Beach entfernt. Es gibt ein separates Cottage (das vierte Schlafzimmer) mit einem Queensize-Bett, einer Dusche, einem großen Erkerfenster, einem TV, einer Tür zum privaten Rasenbereich, einem Tisch und Stühlen, einem kleinen Kühlschrank, einem Waschbecken und einer Kaffeekanne. What a magical place! A beautiful, 18th century house in the middle of the National Seashore, utterly private and remote, just a 5 minutes’ walk from the bay. Though the house is more than 2 centuries old, it is comfortable and well equipped: the owners have thought of every convenience, from an ultra-modern shower to the wireless Internet access (one member of our family was able to work remotely during our stay). A charming little guest cottage provides another bedroom and bathroom. A large brick terrace in front of the house, overlooking flower beds and fruit trees, has comfortable chairs and tables, a barbecue and firepit. Outside the kitchen in the back, a large glass table & umbrella makes a lovely shady place to breakfast and lunch -- and a relaxing hammock is a few paces away. For hikers, there are some wonderful walks right from the property that follow the old cart tracks through the woods. And during a couple of rainy days, we were never bored for a minute, thanks to the amazing collection of books in the house (not to mention all the board games and puzzles) & comfy chairs and sofas. Wish we were still there!

The location on Bound Brook Island is amazing, so close to a nearly deserted beautiful beach. The house is comfortable, especially the living room area with several spots to sit and gather. Unfortunately this was a challenging mosquito season in Wellfleet, and Bound Brook Island seemed to be a mosquito breeding ground while we were there. It was quite extreme and prevented us from lounging outside at the property. The gas for the stove ran out while we were there and the owner was lovely and had it filled immediately.

I know that you can't control the mosquitos but they were so bad. Had none last year when we stayed and could not sit outside this year nor could we walk to the beach. Will say that clean up of the fruit that falls would be helpful as the bees were also terrible. We spent a few hours raking and that helped. Also the bathroom in the little house is filthy and moldy. Love the setting though, even with the bugs! Thanks you
