Beautifully decorated and equipped with great attention to detail. The central location made it possible to eat, drink, shop and handle practical needs in minutes and, sometimes, literally within seconds.
The apartment is on the ground floor — which is wonderful if you have trouble with stairs — but Bordeaux starts early and the quartier is busy. It’s not noisy by any means, being located in a small street, but late sleepers will hear Bordeaux life.

The location was superb! Could not be better.
This is the perfect house when the weather is not too warm.
Because it’s on the ground floor and has no air conditioning, it was pretty uncomfortable most of the time. You could not leave the only 2 window/doors open at night as it was either not secure or too loud from noisy random people.

Beautiful ground floor apartment, fully equipped, spacious and comfortable on a small quiet street just a few steps from the shopping street Saint Catherine in downtown Bordeaux. We had an amazing stay in the city thanks to this accommodation. The host, Bénédicte, is very kind and responsive and she shares an accurate guideline with all the information related to the apartment and to the city that is extremely useful as a visitor.

La Maison de Valentine has central location in the heart of pedestrian old center. Almost every city attraction can be reached by foot or short ride by taxi or tram, which is very comfortable (we used it to get to the famous Museum of Wine). I like restaurants and shopping street nearby. We discovered very good Bordeaux duck at restaurant called Copain Comme Cannard - I would highly recommend to visit, just 3-4 minutes by foot
