The Hideaway Pariya Haad Yuan Ko Pha-ngan

The location, how close it was to bamboo huts party, the staff, the 4x4 ride to get there!

The bathrooms were minimal and not a lot of space to shower, no lighting , the floor was consistently wet

Very peaceful, far from the madding crowd, situated right on the beach, you can hear the waves from your balcony.

Some may not like it's isolated location, we loved it.

Haad Yuan is as beautiful as when I first was there 15 years ago! Pool and lounges are great - lots of seating options I was there over the weekend and didn’t find it too noisy I really enjoyed the pina coladas.

I would stay again, but a few comments for improvements :) My shower plug and sink both had hair in them - not very clean 😢 No hot water in my room. The signs says you need to wait for up to 15minutes. That seems wasteful so I only tried on my last night so I could wash my hair - no luck. Hot breakfast options were sometimes all meat based. Website description of hill room “Middle Zone Gentle Hillside Charm Set in the mid-hillside zone, offering a pleasant walk” - vs the high hill which is described as a steep walk. Well, my hill room was 75+ steps and i walked past one of the high hill rooms -descriptions should be updated. I didn’t like the huge plastic sign in my room with yoga poses - I think this would be better in a booklet. Some of the bean bags are leaking beans onto the beach. Although this is an issue in much of Thailand - I was disappointed by the single use plastic for all drinks. Suggestion - since there are many outside guests over the busy weekends maybe they could have a sun bed fee or minimum spend?

- free transfer, real hideaway from everyone; - near the ocean, beach like private; free beds on the beach; - nice lobby and territory designs; a lot of beautiful plants; - breakfast was okay.

- dirty bath, water boiling for 15 minutes; - small amount of amenities; - the only one way to reach the Full Moon Party - by side company with REALLY overpriced boats - 400 Baht/person/one way for 10-minutes ride (for compare: we booked boat+bus trip from Koh Phangan to Surat Thani for 4 hours for 500 Baht/person/one way; boat from Ao Nang Beach to Railay Beach in Krabi district for 15 minutes for 100 Baht/person/one way).
