The apartment was very comfortable, with a very conveniently located metro station a few minutes walk away. There was breakfast provided, with a very generous amount of coffee and other sundries. Alain was very easy to reach when we needed to ask questions, and he made sure we were situated and even saw us off when we checked out.

The property was exactly as described. There is plenty of space and very comfortable. Alain was very helpful, taking us on a stroll around the neighborhood & pointing out places of interest. We especially enjoyed going to the Thai restaurant.

The apartment is located in a suburb of Brussels approx 5 min walk from the nearest Metro. The apartment consists mostly of one room, separated into different areas for sleeping, eating etc. It is extremely well equipped and furnished. There's a very pleasant terrace out the back. The hosts, Alain and Alexandra are highly recommended. They left a generous supply of provisions for our arrival - milk, bread, cake, coffee, home made jam. On the first day Alain took us out in his car for a drive to show us round the local area. Information prior to arrival on email was helpful and friendly.
It's impossible to think of anything negative to write about this host / apartment. The only thing people should be aware of is you can hear the Metro trains which run into the late evening - it wasn't a problem for us but if you are sensitive to noise it is worth being aware of. After a few days we didn't notice any more.

Everything you need in a lovely, quiet setting close to the Metro and buses. We visited and collected our daughter from the university nearby. Would highly recommend the kind man running this very nice, private place immersed in a beautiful area!

We very much enjoyed our stay in Brussels. The big living room with open kitchen felt like being at home. You find absolutely everything you need. Alain, our very kind and helpful host, eben provided us with necessary food like coffee, milk and butter. Supermarket and Metro to the city centre are just ten minutes walk away.

We were in Brussels for 5 days and this was the perfect home base. Comfortable, clean, quiet, and everything you might want for an enjoyable stay. The neighborhood is lovely, and so convenient to shops and the Metro. Alain is a fantastic host, showing us around, giving tips for restaurants and activities. He also helped us with the train schedule for the next leg of our trip. The nearby Metro made getting around so easy. We could not have been happier with our stay,!

Alain was so gracious and helpful. So many nice touches and thoughtful details.
The property is outside of Brussels center but the metro is close and easy to figure out. We were able to hang out in Brussels and go to Brugge and Ghent.
The B&B was comfortable and well equipped. We sat outside on the garden patio each night when we got home from touring.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was perfectly clean and the best equipped rental property we have ever stayed in. Lovely relaxing stay

We loved our stay in this beautiful apartment, enjoying coffee in the morning on the sunny terrace overlooking a lovely landscaped garden and then taking the metro which is in walking distance to be in the city center of Brussels within 10 minutes.
Alain gave us a very warm welcome, showed us around and even generously provided some food and drinks for our arrival. We will be happy to come again.

Very comfortable, very convenient, very clean- & very classy!
We spent a happy month in this apartment, and found it to be sparkling clean and full of home comforts, with everything you could wish for in a holiday apartment. It's very well equipped and to a very high standard. There are lots of thoughtful touches to make it a 'home from home' . There are good shops nearby, a great weekly street market plus a metro station and bus stop within a few minutes walk.

Alain even included some groceries for us on our arrival, which were very appreciated. He drove us around the neighborhood to show us where we could buy groceries, where the metro station was located (about a five minute walk from the apartment) and pointed out some restaurants. He gave us some brochures and some map references to help us get oriented. When we asked for help in arranging a ride to the airport, he offered to get up at 4:30 in the morning to take us himself.
We loved having the comfort of an apartment as there were some days we just wanted to relax and not rush around. We would definitely stay there again.

Where do we begin? Alain was so kind in every way. There was nothing he wouldn’t do to assist us. The place was gorgeous.. just as advertised. And we loved Auderghem... it’s about 10 minutes by train to downtown Brussels but the station is literally at the end of the street. Beautiful quiet piece of Belgian heaven
Super close to the metro with very easy access to the city. We really enjoyed this lovely property, as it was beautiful and felt very at home, but also because of the hosts and the care they put into making their guests’ stay the best it can possibly be. We spent more time in the apartment than exploring the city - that says a lot!

Short Brussels Stay
We had a lovely stay at Alain’s apartment. It was easy to find, with clear instructions provided to us before leaving home, on how to locate the property. It was very close to the city using public transport. While our stay was short, as we were on our final few days of the holiday, the ability to come home, relax and look out on a lovely cottage style garden was great.
The apartment was so well set up with provisions. Alain had ideas for sightseeing, and then took us on a drive through the local area pointing out where we could buy provisions for our personal needs. This made settling in much easier. As host, Alain went beyond what one would expect, even so far as taking us to the airport as he had some time and knew this would help us out. That showed the degree of helpfulness Alain showed to us as guests. We would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for an easy location to see Brussels and travel to more out of town venues.

Quiet paradise with easy access to downtown.
We were delighted with this very well maintained and conveniently located apartment! Alain and Alexandra are gracious hosts, and are conveniently located upstairs so that they are available to answer any questions.
The apartment is spacious and opens out onto a beautiful private garden with a patio that was part of the rental. It is a perfect spot to sit at the end of a busy day of sight-seeing. Alain greeted us warmly and gave us a comprehensive tour of the apartment. It has many extras such as everything we would need for our breakfast the next day, access to the washer and dryer, a generously sized and well equipped kitchen and sitting room, as well as lovely soaps and decent towels.
Alain gave us a quick tour of the neighbourhood, pointing out grocery store options, dining recommendations and advice on the metro. Many thanks to Alain and Alexandra for making us feel so welcome!
We wouldn’t hesitate to return to this lovely property if we find ourselves back in Brussels.

Fabulous stay and host
We absolutely loved our stay at Alain’s apartment! It was totally perfect. Our host was amazing and went out of his way to make our vacation amazing. He is exceptional in every way of providing information about what todo and where to go in Belgium. The apartment was so clean and quiet. There was even a loaf of fresh bread from the bakery and other items to munch on, since we got in so late from our plane ride from California. It’s one of the best places we have stayed at in Europe. Thank you again Alain for your hospitality and all you did for us to make our visit to Belgium wonderful!

Lovely apartment, clean , spacious and warm - it was February
Our host, Alain, was very welcoming and helped us have a good stay in Brussels. The apartment was stocked with everything we needed to have breakfast and we were introduced to the local area.
We enjoyed having the flexibility of suiting ourselves and exploring Brussels in our own time.
Great place to stay. Very easy to travel to the centre and to navigate round the area on public transport. Good cake shop locally too.

Highly recommended
This was our third stay, and it truly feels like a home away from home. It is a well maintained apartment, and all the positives were as good as ever -- comfort, cleanliness, peacefulness. There is much to see in Brussels, but it is nice to have leisurely mornings at 'home' too. A light snow fell during our visit, and the view out the back was lovely.

An outstanding apartment in a delightful, convenient, inner city location
We stayed in this apartment during four days in June. The apartment is a two minute walk to the train station, supermarket and restaurants. The apartment is nestled in a beautiful, fragrant cottage garden in which you can sit and enjoy a meal or quiet repose. The interior is modern with book lined walls, sitting and dining areas and a fully equiped kitchen. The bedroom is equally delightful. The host was outstanding. Alain picked us up at the railway station and showed us where to find the best shops and restaurants. He ensured that the fridge was well stocked with essentials and saw that all our needs were met. He also drove us to the station on our departure. Alain is a delightful person and we will not forget his generosity or his friendship. We are pleased to give this apartment our highest recommendation.

Wonderful space, great hosts, lovely neighborhood
What a magnificent apartment! So nice to spend time inside and so easy to travel from. The garden outside the sitting room is amazing. Our hosts provided several welcoming items that were delicious and meant we didn’t immediately have to run to the grocery, Alain provided excellent advice on places to visit and things to see. The inside is very comfortable tor lounging and for working, and Alexandra has done a wonderful job of designing an efficient yet pleasant space throughout. It’s difficult to imagine a better base of operations for our week in Brussels.

Our stay here was wonderful! The home is nestled in a safe and charming community close to public transit, grocery stores and restaurants. It was very clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated inside. This home and the hospitality of our host far exceeded our expectations! Best HomeAway Experience Yet
We have stayed at several HomeAway/Airbnb apartments over the years, but this one was by far the best. Very clean, conveniently located, tastefully decorated. And, Alain stocked the refrigerator and pantry with many essentials, so we didn't need to run out to the grocery store when we arrived. Several grocery stores were walkable, including an all organic store and a very large market. The train into the city center was also only a couple minutes walk and ran quite frequently so we never waited very long for a train. On the day of our arrival, Alain drove us around the apartment to show us where everything was, including all of the best restaurants in the area. Very flexible/easy check in/check out process. This apartment is easy to get to from the airport. Just take the train from the airport into Central Station, then transfer to the line that takes you to Hankar. Very comfortable apartment and beds. Thanks, Alain, for being such a great host. We will be back!
