Balmoral On York

Perfect location. Central but not right in the middle of the hustle and bustle, just far enough out to be quiet but still within walking distance of the main city attractions. Excellent view, being halfway up one of the hills leading out of the main CBD area. Close to restaurants and main bars, city park, and supermarket. Room was very spacious and light, with great city views. Bed was comfortable, plenty of other sitting room, and amenities like fridge, microwave, kettle, ironing board. Good wifi, and there were even USB direct charging ports in the restaurant area. We appreciated the included breakfast which included toast, condiments, boiled eggs, cereal, and a great selection of fresh fruit and yoghurt.

The shower head was a little underwhelming in terms of water pressure, but the temperature was fine, and overall it was an adequately functional shower.

Very accessible to the airport and shops surrounded by wonderful pubs and parks

Nothing really especially for the price maybe extra lighting up outside of a night for safety
