Superb location, friendly staff. Basic but clean. Really comfortable bed.
The stairs..! Lift wasn’t working.

I can not really give a good review for a room with no window and if I had not been in the Gaudi hotel a week later then my review would have been much worse. The room was clean and the the woman at the reception was friendly and the price was ok for Barcelona center I assume.
No window

The location was great - metro was just round the corner. The rooms were modern and clean. Staff was very friendly. The place had charm. Seems the hotel is located on the 4th floor of an apartment building of local residents, which added to the charm. We had the corner room, which offered plenty of windows and view of the streets below. Found a great place to have breakfast in the morning just next to the hotel.
AC in the room was not so good. But at least the staff gave us a fan, which was enough. Rooms are quite small.

Location good, beds comfortable and bathroom generous size for 2 people, aircon
Lack of space for suitcases, refrigerator not working, no window
Power outages x2, 3am light and alarm came and stayed on. On 4th floor elevator not working, room not serviced when requested. No apology for disrupted night.
