Arc La Rambla

Perfectly located or us , with n excellent breakfast.

Whilst appreciating that it is not the fault of the hotel, sadly we were not warned of all the building works going on right out side the hotel. We had a window room overlooking La Rambla but had to keep the windows shut all the time. I am asthmatic and the dust was terrible. If we had known we could have booked a room at the back of the hotel.

Hotel Arc la Rambla is centrally located on the South side of Street La Rambla near the Columbus monument. It’s within a few feet of the the historic La Rambla neighborhood. Closest train station is Sants (15min taxt), closest underground is Drassnanes (100ft) and airport 30min. This is a high traffic / people area and the noise could be a problem if you’re on the front of the hotel with a balcony. But for convenience, you can’t ask for more. Convenience store, restaurants, cafes, bars right at your door. We were on the 1st floor and could overhead conversations into the night. The desk dtaff were friendly and spoke many languages. Accomadations were adequate, but Ill never get used to two single beds pushed together. Theres a roohtop lounge for guests with recliners, The breakfast was served daily at approximately 7-10. Definitely get the breakfast included in your stay, eggs, barely legal cooked, ham, coffee and plenty more, all included. Overall the hotel was a good price for what it provided.

There had been a construction crew on the street at our check-in. Yet another source of noise. The hotel should have notified us and offer a repacement room. This looks like long term work project and the hotel should notify guest.

Hotel was clean

The room was practically windowless. The keys worked more often than not.
