The Old Rectory

Perfect location for my trip, friendly welcome!

Very calm, quiet and peaceful. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was nice to have a sitting room to relax and watch the tv. I loved the heavy drapes at the window

Nothing in particular

The room and facilities were immaculate. Breakfast was exceptional -served by wonderful Jane. The owner was friendly and extremely helpful and attentive. I was so happy with my choice to stay here. I haven’t been to Suffolk in 20 years and the staff made it very memorable.

Absolutely nothing!!

The sitting room, bedroom and bathroom were clean, spacious and peaceful.

We could make hot drinks in the dining room, but there was no provision in our room. There was no anti-slip mat in the bath so I was unable to have a shower as I had a bad back and couldn't risk slipping. The owners texted to say they wouldn't be there when we arrived and although they arrived home a couple of hours later, they showed no interest in our presence. I didn't see them at all. They forgot to tell the breakfast lady that we needed breakfast at 8.30 so she had only just arrived at that time. We had to have a cold breakfast as we couldn't wait for her to organise cooking. It wasn't what we wanted since we were going to be busy all day. The house was unattended when we left.
