The Bull Inn

Clean rooms

Great service excellent location fantastic breakfast excellent host

Fantastic staff. Great room with decor. Very comfortable bed. Only let down by a very dirty, previously used toilet brush. Didn't get to try their food from their main menu as my partner was being very fussy and wanted pie and mash or sausages and mash and it wasn't an option on menu, but the breakfast was delicious.

Stayed here on a Monday night when the pub was closed; which meant it was blissfully peaceful at night. Room was very clean with all amenities thoughtfully provided & placed. The room (No 5) also had windows opposite each other, that could be opened & allowed a cooling cross breeze on a very warm day/night. There was also a good sized fan to help keep the room cool. Towels were fluffy & clean. Bead comfortable, pillows reasonable. Continental breakfast a bit basic (no yogurts or stewed fruits) but did have fresh fruit. Outside garden spaces are lovely. Off-street parking is available. A great place to stay for a comfortable, peaceful night (pub depending).
